Little British Style: Autumn Wishlist

As you all know I am a huge fan of supporting British Brands and shopping small. Purchasing from smaller businesses almost always results in amazing quality and unique items, not to mention personal touches and fantastic customer service. Some of my favourite British Brands are now releasing their Autumn/Winter 2016 Collections or already have garments and accessories that lend themselves perfectly to the Autumn Season.

I have been eyeing up some of the collections and clothing for the last month (or two) and have put together a little (big) wish list of statement clothes and accessories I would love too add to my Girls’ Autumn wardrobes and I think you might love them too!

outerwear 2

  • Quilted Jackets, Sewkuddly in Reversible Pretty Croc £37.00
  • Ponchos, Eversew Beautiful in Cactus Print and and Squiggle Print £14.40
  • Charlie Jacket, Lottie & Lysh in Grey and Cerise Hello Bear £32.00

dresses 2

All the items in my wish list are what I would consider ‘statement’ pieces so I would purchase a few basic items from the High Street like leggings, tights and plain long sleeve tees to team with the bold and wonderful pieces from the smaller stores.

Have you started buying for your little ones Autumn wardrobe? Do you have a favourite place to shop for children’s clothes?

This stuff is all beautiful! I’m a bit of a cheapskate and we’ve had most of my boy’s stuff secondhand. I do love to lust over little girl’s clothes though and the dresses you’ve picked are GORGEOUS. Maybe for my boy’s 1st birthday I’ll buy a few special bits. The quality is wonderful and I want more kids so really it’s an investment, right?! #bigpinklink

Oh my goodness, how gorgeous! I love it, I love it all!! I absolutely adore the dungaree dresses-I loved my boys in dungarees (they’re a little old for them now, unfortunately,) and girls look equally gorgeous in dungaree dresses, and can seem to get away with wearing them until they’re a lot older too! In fact, I’d quite like the mustard coloured one for myself (when are you officially too old to wear a dungaree dress??!) And I love leggings on boys, as well as girls-there’s the cutest selection here! Lottie and Lysh do the most gorgeous ones! My boys aren’t growing that quickly now, and I think they will mostly still fit into last years clothes! But they will definitely need some new coats, the ones from last year are battered! And I might treat them to some cool leggings!
Thanks for stepping in to co-hostess! xx

I love the Little and Wild top and the fox leggings. It takes me back to buying clothes when mine were little. Nowadays I don’t dare buy them anything – I never get it right. Mind you, judging by their reactions to photos of themselves when they were little, I didn’t get it right then either! Alison x #bigpinklink

I love dungarees. I wish my boys would tolerate them but they have sensory problems with them. Maybe I should just get a pair for myself…it’s been a while since my last pair died (got a big hole near the crotch).

I love this some fabulous picks on there! I love the dungaree dresses I always loved my daughter in them when she was younger. I haven’t even thought about doing her an autumn wardrobe yet, I’m thinking layering and tights to make the most out of her summer wardrobe (she grows too fast these days!) #bigpinklink

I love these outfits. And I also love that their British brands, as recently I have really been trying to find clothing that isn’t fast-fashion cycled and is sustainable. The quality is always good which also makes sense why it’s kind of pricey, but I guess someone of these items could be staples for the whole year. Especially the bottoms. Great post. Thank you for sharing x
