The Love Affair with my Jujube BFF

Just a few days before our little Allana arrived I had a major panic when I realised that firstly the changing bag I had for Willow was going to be far too small to carry both baby and toddler items. Secondly, I realised that as we were literally days away from moving house, I had packed the changing bag and didn’t have the faintest clue which of the million boxes it was in.

I decided it was a good excuse to be naughty and treat tiny tot and toddler to a new changing bag (OK, it was really a treat for me but please don’t tell my husband!) I knew I wanted something bright and colourful, not your usual plain dark colour. I also knew I was going to be babywearing Allana so I wanted a bag that could both be slung on the stroller and used as a backpack. After having a good look around, both online and in stores I came across Jujube and instantly fell in love. They had hundreds of stunning designs to choose from as well as many styles, from large weekend bags down to tiny clutches and dummy holders.

After a lot of going back and forth I finally decided to go for the Jujube BFF changing bag in ‘Tick Tock’ and I could not be happier with my choice. The bag is bright, colourful and fun. But most importantly its very practical, it comes complete with both shoulder straps and an adjustable messenger strap, even better, for comfort they both have memory foam padding. It also has a beautiful matching memory foam changing pad which my tiny tot is more than happy to be changed on, I always like to have my own changing mat for when we’re out and about.

The bag has 3 zipper compartments-a main compartment for all your baby and/ or toddler’s needs, plenty of little ‘cubby holes’ to place the smaller items like nappy cream and snacks, and even somewhere to store a photo or two. What I love about this compartment is how wide it opens, making it super easy to access all your items.

The other two zipper compartments are reserved just for Mummy, one is the perfect size for a phone, whilst the other is just right for Mum’s essentials. Theres enough space for your purse, as well as a stretchy key chain and a sunglasses holder. The little pockets are perfect for hand sanitiser, lip balm or any other small items you might want to carry.

It has a back pocket which is a perfect place to store the changing pad and a few nappies for easy reach and two exterior insulated pockets which are perfect for storing my toddler’s juice bottles. And she loves that she can easily get to her drink without having to ask.

I chose to also purchase the Jujube Be Quick which I store a few nappies and wipes in, I keep it in the larger compartment and can whip it out nice and quickly when its changing time. I have also got the Jujube Fuel Cell, I haven’t used this much yet but think it will come in to its own on long journeys and days out as an extra place to store snacks and drinks.

What I love most about Jujube is how all their bags are designed to make a Mum’s life easier, the interior is a light colour so you easily see whats in your bag. The bags have a stain repellent built in, as well as a treatment to prevent bacteria growth, giving you peace of mind knowing all your little ones items are clean and bacteria free. It can be thrown in the washing machine for easy cleaning and feels very solid and well put together,

I recently found my original changing bag and it hasn’t got a patch on my Jujube, the Jujube has quickly become my ‘BFF’ and I would be lost without her!

Thank you for reading and I hope to see you in my next post.
