Days Out Family Life

Trees, Tyres and Leap Frogging

This weekend we are dog sitting for my parents whilst they enjoy a wonderful weekend break in Scotland. So after a week of sickness, poops and irritable children, and a dog in need of a walk. We decided to venture out to our local National Trust stomping ground Saltram for a little wander and exploring.

Willow is obsessed with walking the dog, although it usually ends up with the dog walking her.

Saltram is surrounded by woodland making it a really beautiful and interesting place for walks.

Today we wandered to an area I’d not been to before and we came across this wonderful log ‘hut’.

And these fun ‘tyre tunnels’.

I think the highlight of Willow’s day was by far the concrete posts that we came across.

She thoroughly enjoyed frog hopping from post to post with Daddy.

After being cooped up for over a week, it was amazing to get out of the house for a few hours. We are definitely a family that thrive on days out in the fresh air and outside adventures. We’re all feeling refreshed and energised after a morning in the great outdoors.

Do you start to feel a little crazy when your stuck in the house for a while? Hope you’ve had some fun adventures this week.
