I recently discovered this wonderful British children’s clothing and lifestyle brand through the wonderful world of Instagram and instantly fell in love with their simple gender-neutral monochrome designs. Kidult & Co was set up last year by three friends with a background in Web Design, Fashion Brand Management, Marketing, Art and Graphic Design all of which clearly show in their effortless brilliant designs.

I love that their clothing designs are completely unisex, a little edgy and stand out from the crowd. Being such a neutral colour pallet each item can easily and beautifully be teamed with another monochrome piece or something bright as a complete contrast.

‘I Didn’t Do It’ Tee

Our Toddler loves to be comfy as she’s always running around (like a headless chicken) and she’s now becoming more aware of the clothes she is wearing. Usually if I give her the option she will pick a pair of leggings and a t-shirt so the Kidult & Co designs seemed perfect to go with her array of coloured and patterned bottoms. After spending hours drooling over their Instagram Feed I decided to order a few pieces, and I was delighted to discover I could treat both my girls as their clothing ranges from 0-6 years with a selection of bodysuits, bibs, hats, tees, bottoms and hoodies (my personal favourite).

‘Mines a Milk’ Dribble Bib

I was delighted when our parcel arrived, the items were wonderfully hand tied together with a piece of monochrome string along with a lovely card displaying their signature logo thanking me for my purchase, its these little personal touches that I love from brands, and that I don’t see enough of anymore.

Our Toddlers immediate reaction to her new clothes was ‘WOW!’ this is Willows current favourite way of displaying excitement, so clearly her Kidult & Co clothes were a hit. The next day she decided to wear her ‘Wild Child’ tee, I gave her a few options of bottoms and she decided to pair the outfit with her yellow docs. I think we’ve got a really stylish Toddler in the making! Each time Willow has worn her tees we have received comments on how much they suit her personality, especially the ‘I Didn’t Do It’ Tee. Perfect for a little monkey like ours who always has that cheeky ‘I’ve been up to no good’ look on her face.

Wild Child’ Tee

The tees are made from super soft 100% cotton and wash beautifully, we have personally decided not to tumble dry the tops so as to not apply too much heat to the print. And in the garment upkeep suggestions they do advise not to iron the print (we don’t need to worry about this because shamefully I don’t remember the last time my iron made it out of the cupboard- actually, I’m not even sure which cupboard its in!!)

‘Yes I’m Cute’ Bodysuit

The fit on their clothes is wonderful, all the items are slightly ‘oversized,’ especially the hoodies which I love. It has worked out brilliantly for our ‘tank’ of a Tiny Tot who barely fits in most clothes due to her gorgeous chubbiness, both the tee and bodysuit I got for her fit perfectly- with room to grow!!! She is also a big dribbler and regularly drenches her tops (you only need to look at the photo above to see proof of that!) and I’ve struggled to find dribble bibs with a design and material I’m keen on. I must say I’ve been really impressed with the ‘Mines a Milk’ bib, its so soft, absorbent and Tiny Tot seems to find it comfortable to wear, and lets be honest, she looks pretty darn cool wearing it too!

‘I Can and I Will’ Hoodie

My personal favourite is the ‘I Can and I Will’ Zipped Hoodie, I love the words (I sometimes need to be reminded of a quote like this) and I adore the quality and feel of it. It is ridiculously soft to the touch being 100% cotton and has a really comfy fluffy warm inside, I have absolutely no worries about Willow getting cold whilst running around in this.

And just this past week, Kidult & Co have started a Made to Order service meaning you can now order an item in your size and twin with your little!! I love coordinating my girls and I’m so excited that I’ll be able to match with them too now. I’m not too sure that the Hubby will love us all twinning but I can’t think of anything more awesome.

If you’ve loved these designs as much as I do then check out the rest of their amazing collection and get ordering as Kidult & Co have been kind enough to offer you all an exclusive discount code giving you 10% off until 27th May 2016. All you have to do is enter ‘theordinarymumblog’ at the checkout to receive a 10% discount.

And whilst your at it why not give them a ganders on Instagram and Twitter too.

A huge thank you to Kidult & Co for offering my readers such a wonderful exclusive discount and also for designing such wonderfully simple, cool and comfy clothes for our littles.

I love all of these clothes Hannah, Kidult & Co have some great designs here, and it is great that they are not to girly or boyish. I would love to buy some for my little girl, I’m off to check out their website now. Thanks for sharing this brand with us, I find it brilliant to learn about other places to buy clothes from, away from the usual high street brands. Thanks so much for joining our party at #fortheloveofBLOG, we hope you come back next week. Claire x
