Eeeeeekk! This week I have the absolute pleasure of guest hosting #bigpinklink with El whilst the lovely Lou has a wonderful and much deserved break. This is my first time guest hosting a linky so please bare with me whilst I find my feet (and I’m super sorry if I’m a bit slower than normal with my comments and tweeting). I feel so delighted to have been asked to help out for the next two weeks so I promise to do my very best, for the next two weeks feel free to tweet me @theordinarymum as well as @pinkpearbear, @thismumslife and @AgentSpitback with your links for a retweet.
Last week Lucy and Lou announced they are now sharing the Big Pink love over on Instagram too with the hashtag #pinklinker. Get tagging your wonderful photos for the chance to be featured on their weekly #bigpinklink posts!
Can anyone else believe we’re already two thirds of the way through 2016? Sssshhhh, don’t tell anyone but I’m secretly happy to be heading into September, I love the changing colours of Autumn and I am quite looking forward to cooler evenings and nights.
Onto the WOWS from last weeks Big Pink Link!
This one from Siena Says bought back memories of Lucy’s own past hair removal disasters as well as being a thought provoking look at approaching this subject with our own children. It definitely got me thinking about how I’m going to breach this subject with my girls when/if they start questioning the hair on their bodies. She also loved this brilliant account of online dating from Utterly Feral.
El found this interpretation of ‘Parklife’ from Nursery Whines hilarious, I certainly found myself giggling my way through it. She also thoroughly enjoyed the refreshing writing style and personality of The Stented Papa in his Daddy Tag Challenge post. El had to have an extra WOW this week with this beautiful piece from Mummy in a Tutu, a really relatable post which reminds us we are already the mothers our children need and to stop judging ourselves so harshly.
Don’t forget to grab your well deserved WOW badge!!
On with this weeks Big Pink Link, I am really looking forward to reading all your wonderful posts so just scroll on down to add your link to this weeks party. I’m linking a random oldie all about my dream living room (its important to have dreams) this week due to my unscheduled blogging break (it turns out hot weather, a baby, a toddler and a newly obsessed mountain biking Hubby do not mix well with blogging).
