I am afraid you’re stuck with me hosting for a second week whilst Lou enjoys her much deserved holibob. This week I’m guest hosting with the wonderful and amazing Lucy. I really want to thank Lucy, El and Louise again for asking me to help out and a huge thank you to all you lovelies who linked up last week. I thoroughly enjoyed reading through last weeks posts and I can’t wait to get reading again this week.
Another quick reminder that Lou and Lucy are sharing the Big Pink Link love over on Instagram with the hashtag #pinklinker. They will be featuring some of your images in their Big Pink Link posts over the coming weeks so get tagging.
Also I know the other ladies have said it, but in case you missed it here’s a little message from El- ‘I have started posting the actual diary entries of the Secret Diary of Agent Spitback on Facebook and will be linking the posts as my Host Post from time to time. So if the blog is quiet, please pop over to my Facebook to have a peep at Spitback’s diary. Blog posts will continue but in tandem with Facebook entries. If you do not do Facebook, please do not feel under pressure to like/comment on my Facebook post.’
Onto the WOWS from last week….
My first WOW is this wonderfully funny post from Tilly of Mummy Rules, this had me giggling from start to finish and was quite possibly the highlight of my week. I came away with a new appreciation for both my real life work colleagues and inanimate household items. Definitely a must read, especially if you’re having a rough week of parenting. I also enjoyed this one from Petite Words, after having a little blogging break this was just the pick-me-up I needed. It made me think about the reasons why I first started blogging and to stay true to that. Some really wonderful hints and tips at how to be and remain a happy blogger.
El’s first WOW of the week is this post from Sam of Mouse, Moo and Me Too, El said ‘with a line like “Sweat is Fat Crying”, you know that this is going to be a great read. This post made me laugh. Sam has such a refreshing and engaging writing style. Another great blogger find.’ El also enjoyed this one from Susan, saying ‘I loved reading Susan’s post on how going to school in the 80s’ was like and compared to today. It brought back so many fond memories of what growing up was like then – the permed hair, the shoulder pads, and the concrete playground. It brought such a smile to my face as she shared her memories.’
Don’t forget to collect your well deserved WOW badge.
I was in complete awe of everyones writing talents last week so I am super duper excited to read your posts again this week. So without further ado lets get this weeks Big Pink Link Party started, just scroll on down to get linking.
